GANG SHOW

Members of the Group have been involved with the Bournemouth Gang Show since its inception. Our own Group Gang Shows regularly filled in between the biennial District productions.

ON THE AIR For many years our Scouts helped produce "Jamboree", a monthly Scout/Guide programme for BBC Radio Solent. We have also been involved with BBC TV on several occasions.

SPECTRUM FILMS Since 1960 the Troop has operated a film-making unit called Spectrum Films. Our productions have covered everything from slapstick comedy to a promotional documentary about supermarket trolley wheels! Possibly the most popular productions were the 30 minute films about the continual battle between the (heroic) Scouts and the (evil) Black Hand Gang. Nowadays most productions are made on video tape.
